
ABOUT TED KIM
RVN founder Ted Kim is an experienced designer whose previous success forms the foundation for his incredible understanding of women's wear.
As a student at Parsons The New School for Design, he flourished under the mentorship of Donna Karan who singled out Ted as a future design star. Ted affectionately refers to heras his “designer mother”, and credits her expertise as an early influence. Following his graduation in 1998 as Designer of the Year, Ted began his career with Donna Karan.
In 2002, Ted was hired as a Senior Designer for Women’s at Michael Kors, where he was instrumental in building the multi-billion dollar global life style brand.
After 8 years at Michael Kors, Ted became Vice President of Design and Creative Director at Anne Klein, where he dressed the likes of First Lady Michelle Obama.
